The countryside is rich in history......you can wander and explore the terraced mountains and follow the ancient paths to the medieval towns like Pigna, Castel Vittorio, Buggio, Isolabona, Dolceacqua and many more. Along the way you will discover traces of past lives from WW11 bunkers to the simplistic countryside rusticos, old mills and fortified walls, castles, churches, shrines and much more...... Pigna, named after the Pine Cone, is also home to the healing thermal waters of the Terme.(only 3 kms away).

Our Rosina Room has been painted by the Australian artist Gemelle Madigan in which the history and story of the olive harvest is depicted. She is now painting a second room in the manner of the 15th Century artist Canavesio, whose frescoed church you can also visit just outside Pigna on the old Salt Road. We have plenty of parking, both for cars and campervans, a large kitchen and leisure area and shaded terrace which leads into a restful swimming pool.We offer bed and breakfast for 35 euros per person per night.
